IT business Netshield awarded highest quality standards

Midlands-based Netshield, a specialist provider of managed IT services, has been awarded two of the highest ISO Quality Management System certifications.

Netshield is now one of a few IT services specialists in the region to be certified to ISO 90-01:2008 Quality Management System and ISO 27001:2005 Information Security Management Systems.

The certificates, which are recognised worldwide, underline Netshield’s commitment to maintaining its high quality service and customer satisfaction levels, as Commercial Director Richard Carty explains:

“ISO 9001 Certification is the ideal way for Netshield to maximise the way it operates to the benefit of our customers and staff. The process of achieving ISO accreditation has enabled the company to heighten its internal operations. It also gives us a true competitive advantage as Netshield looks to continue its strategy for growth, both in terms of resource and facilities, but also expansion into international markets.”

He adds: “Our customers can be assured of Netshield’s high quality of products and services, and that we also consider their needs and expectations to ensure they are always satisfied with the way we are working with and for them.”

Netshield recently opened a state of the art datacentre at Birmingham Science Park Aston (BSPA) to create a trio of strategicially located datacentres across the Midlands. The company has also recently completed a number of international projects.

Richard adds. “Netshield specialises in the delivery of complete managed and serviced IT, and whilst our primary customer base has been in the UK, 2011 has marked an unprecedented growth in the level at which we are exporting our services, and growing on a global scale.

“This rise in our global trade activities is significant, and by securing the internationally-recognised ISO quality standards, Netshield has further strengthened our pedigree and credentials on the global stage. Our international activities have not only contributed to our recent increase in turnover, but also sees us building strategic partnerships and alliances with other global organisations to further our expansion.

“We have increased our workforce by 25 percent to maintain our excellent customer and technical support services, and the awarding of both ISO certificates is the latest step in our strategy to deliver excellent products and customer service in the UK and overseas.”
